FAQ
Can we meet?
Of course! I love to meet my clients prior to working with them, especially for large events such as weddings so that you will already be familiar with me and more comfortable on the day. We’ll get in touch to see if we compliment each other. If you’re not in the area we can always Skype initially, or if you are it would be great to grab a coffee or a beer.
Do you travel?
I regularly travel for work, I move from coast to coast mainly working in the "Riviera Maya"; Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Holbox & "Riviera de Nayarit" Vallarta; Nuevo Vallarta, Punta de Mita, Sayulita and San pancho. I am able and happy to travel anywhere, the travel costs and accommodation for the event will be paid for by the client.
How many images do we get?
It depends on your package or event, the number of guests, party size, weather, hours, and whether there is a 2nd shooter.
I am conscious and eager to deliver as many images as possible, please see the details of the package that you’re interested in for the minimum number of images that will be provided. I am a lover of quality over quantity, so I will always deliver as many as possible that are of the highest quality.
How long until we get our images?
It will take from 2 to 6 weeks for Wedding packages. For photoshoots I can delivery within 3 - 5 days. I will always aim to deliver the images as quickly as possible.
Do you have backups?
This is a must for every photographer so, yes!! I’ve got you covered! I have a back-up camera, back-up drives, back-up memories and even a back-up photographer.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes I have a few photographers who can work as my second shooter or as an assistant. I only work with photographers who are good enough to join us, so you can feel comfortable and confident in our 2nd shooter.
When should we book you?
For Weddings, as soon as you set your venue and date, most couples book me 9 to 16 months in advance. For any other photoshoots, I recommend booking as soon as possible. To find out more about my availability, please do not hesitate to contact me.
How much time do we need for photos on our wedding day?
I suggest to take at least an hour for the bridal party and family formals, after that I will take you aside for the couple shots. Everything will depend on your timeline, location, the hour and the weather. I highly recommend taking the formal and couple shots just after the ceremony to help you to stick to your schedule and get a good amount of portraits.
What is the best time for photos?
The best light is soft light for several reasons such as:
it makes the skin soft, minimizes shine, gives good tones,
a nice background and there is less heat.
I highly recommend evening time before sunset or just after sunrise.
Do we get the raw files?
I would love to say yes... but no.
My main reasons are:
They are not finished.
I pass through several hours of editing for you.
The images need my touch to polish them for me to be able to finalize the image as
I pictured it in my mind when I captured the moment.
They’re very large files.
The images need a special software to read/open the files.
